Critical Limit

I think there should be a new term for hanging out with a group of friends, and we should call it "Critical Limit".  We went to the fair on Friday night, but our group was a little too big.  We had about 12 people, but the problem arose with the fact that no one could decide what they wanted to do.  Part of our group was separated from us and did their own thing, and the larger group left just walked around the whole time - except for the petting zoo.  It was too hard to get one thing everyone wanted to do, and half the time we were all worried about doing something someone else didn't want to do.

There were also those funny times when we would be walking, and someone would just stop randomly and the whole group stopped as a result.  Oh well.  I guess you can only do so much with a group of people before it just gets too large.

Therefore, I propose the term "Critical Limit" when going out with groups.  Who knows what this number should really be, that is arbitrary.  The fact must be that at some point the group is too large for it to be any fun to me - or perhaps someone else who subscribes to this theory.  So, just FYI, if anyone calls me to go out with a group and tells me who is going and that group is too large, please do not be surprised when I kindly decline saying the group has reached my "Critical Limit".
